Principal's welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary Academy website. We are a popular and thriving school in the heart of Wednesfield where every day we have the pleasure of welcoming in our pupils from Nursery to Year 6.

We are a caring community that promotes the Gospel values in all aspects of our busy school life. Christ is at the centre of all that we do and we firmly believe in a collaborative partnership between home, school and parish so that together we can support every child to learn and to grow. We aim to develop the uniqueness of each child emotionally, physically, intellectually, spiritually and socially to enable them to reach their true potential as Children of God.

I am so proud of all that we have achieved so far at St. Patrick’s and look forward with excitement to all we will achieve in the future. We hope that your child will benefit in every way from the education received here in St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary Academy and we encourage you all to come and get to know us, the staff, so that we can work together for the best interests of your child. If you do not already know our school you are very welcome to book an appointment and visit.

We are a happy school and one that always welcomes support from our community – we proudly call ourselves St. Patrick’s family.

A large chunk of school funding for the year is based on how many children eat a school lunch on Thursday the 15th. The government counts how many lunches we serve on this day and gives us an amount of money based on that number. It’s a crazy way to decide school funding, but that’s how it is! This funding goes directly to maintain resources and a good quality of education for your children.

Tomorrows lunch is burger and fries and rainbow sponge to follow - veggie burgers also available. Our usual jacket potatoes and pasta will also be on the menu.

We would encourage you to order a school dinner on this day, even if you are usually a packed lunch person.

Thank you!
